Recreational and competitive options available for boys & girls Pre-K – 12th grade. Options are primarily available through Wayzata Youth Wrestling and through school starting in 9th grade.

Youth Wayzata Youth Wrestling Youth wrestlers start working on the basic foundations of wrestling at an easy to learn pace. mid-November – mid-March
Elite Wayzata Youth Wrestling 3+ Years of Experience, Motivated. mid-November – mid-March
Travel Wayzata Youth Wrestling Competitive Travel Team that competes in dual meet tournaments. Travel requires year-round training. Weight classes range from 40 lbs to 130 lbs
Freestyle / Greco Wayzata Youth Wrestling Freestyle (K-12th Grade) / Greco (4th-12th Grade) mid-March – mid-May
Middle School


Middle School Wrestling begins in November and ends in December.  Wrestling is open to all boys and girls in grades 6, 7 and 8.
High School Wayzata High School Junior Varsity and Varsity
Middle School Supplemental Training Wayzata Youth Wrestling 6th-8th grade wrestlers looking for additional training. mid-November – mid March
Preseason Training Wayzata Youth Wrestling Youth wrestlers planning to compete in preseason regional and national Folkstyle tournaments. mid-Sept – mid-November
Summer Wrestling Camps Wayzata Youth Wrestling Summer Wrestling Camps are held every summer in June to build for winter success.
